Christmas was a busy week in our house hold, especially the weeks leading up to it. So here you go...

December 26

Santa brought me the set of the first 7 Sookie Stackhouse books. I just started Dead Until Dark. The True Blood series on HBO is based off these books.

December 25

Gone With the Wind is one of my favorite movies. Ross got me the boxed set for Christmas.

December 24

We celebrated with Ross's family on Christmas Eve. This is their tree with half of the presents. The rest are on the other side of the tree.

December 23

My dad had prostate surgery today and I completly forgot to take a picture. Understandable right? So here is one of my favorite ornaments that I bought this year.

December 22

I pass these lights each week on my way to bingo. They look better in person than on camera.

December 21

My mom and I drove around Sylvania to look at Christmas lights. This is one of my mom's favorite houses to see.

December 20

I did a ton of baking today. My sweet Kitchen-Aid mixer got a workout today. Can't you tell? :o)

This week I wanted to take a picture of a different ornament on our tree. So this week is devoted to Christmas ornaments.

December 19

My friends and I decided to do an ornament exchange instead of buying presents for each other. I love Las Vegas!

December 18

We have a tradition to get ornaments with our names on them. You can get them at Bronners in Frankenmuth, MI (http://www.bronners.com/). My mom has one with my brother's name and my name. We wanted one for our own tree.

December 17

I was looking through my grandma's boxes of Christmas decorations and came across this one. It's a good 6-8 inches tall. It's huge and I love it!

December 16

In continuing with my door theme Wednesday, I found this one. It's one of Ross's favorites and there's a telephone booth door, so that counts right? :o)

December 15

Also one of Ross's ornaments, it's a ship from Star Wars. I don't know the exact name of it. It plugs into the stran of lights and everytime you plug the tree in, it talks. It makes me giggle each time I plug the tree in.

December 14

These two ornaments are from last year's exchange with my friends. They're a mr and mrs snowman-at that time I was only engaged. (still cute though)

December 13

My mom and I visited The Manor House at Wildwood Metropark. They decorate it for Christmas each year and it's only up for a week. This is one of the ornaments from the tree in the angel room.

So, I finally figured out how many weeks it's been so far-21. That's 174 pictures.

December 12

We went to a Toledo Walleye game. They played Elmira Jackals. The first 2 periods the score was 1-0 Jackals. The third period the Walleye scored 5 goals and were in numerous fights. At one time there were 3 going on.

December 11

We went to my company Christmas party held at one of the worker's parents house. They had a buffet, dessert station, popcorn machine, margarita machine, and yes an ice cream machine. It was good ice cream too!

December 10

I put up a little Christmas decorations in my office. I can't go too big since I'm in the equipment lab.

December 9

My door for the day is to our apt building.

December 8

The first recordable snowfall of the season. However it rained and it was gone by the next day.

December 7

This is my fiber optic tree that plugs into my computer.

December 6

This is our friend that we see in the late morning. He chews on the wood on the outside of the building.

I think I figured out how the new way of loading pictures works. I've been a slacker at uploading pictures lately. The following are the last 2 weeks. I really need to either count the weeks I've been doing this or the picture number. It has been a challenge some days and easy on others. So without further ado, here are my pictures.

December 5

My friend sends me the coolest Christmas cards each year. They're always some kind of pop-up one.

December 4

This is the sunset on my way home from work. One of the last days that it was a mild temperature.

December 3

This is my friend Patty's (the one who sent me the card above) cat Patrick. He has a terminal kidney disease, which leaves him moody some days. Today he was feeling good this day so he let me pet him. He's such a sweetheart.

December 2

The front doors to the Sylvania Bbranch Library.

December 1

My Penn State mug that I drink my water out of at work.

November 30

These are the winter gift exchange I did with my online "friends." It is a secret santa type of thing. The chocolate covered pretzels were yummy.

November 29

We were supposed to help ILs set up their Christmas tree, but when we got over there it was already set up. This is one of their retro ornaments. It's an astronaut.

November 28

A few years ago, my grandma was purging her Christmas decorations. She didn't want this so I said I'd take it. It was painted in 1974 by one of their friends.

November 27

My mom has a Christmas villiage she sets up each year. This is abou half of what she has. It usually goes on the dining room table.

November 26

The Thanksgiving shot. After looking through my pictures, I didn't take any of the fantastic food we ate. This is the next best thing-shopping. This is our local paper with all the weekend shopping ads. It was twice as thick as a normal Sunday paper.

November 25

I decided to pick two photos for this day. As I continue with Wednesdays being door photos, I found another great one at a local church. This is from Rosary Catherdral Catholic Church. It is a great historical church. I've only seen pictures of the inside, never seen it for myself. I included the second one to show the details above the door.

November 24

I love Dove chocolate-especially the carmel filled ones.

November 23

A dreary fall day on my way home from work.
