This week marks the six month mark. We're on the home stretch now. This has been a great six months and I look forward to the next six months.

January 23

This was the first of a few fights. They lost 2-8.

January 22

This was the first time that I made beef stew in the crock pot. It was so yummy!!!

January 21

This is the 6 month mark of my Project 365. Yeah!!! There is a new marina district along the Maumee River.

January 20

Door Wednesday- this was an apartment building I saw while hunting for last week's door wednesday. There was a row of about ten apts. They looked so cute!

January 19

It was finally warm enough to get my car washed. It looks so shiney.

January 18

The winter morning + frost + the outside lights = great shot. This was the frost on my car this morning.

January 17

What a better way to spend a Sunday morning-the paper and a coffee from Biggby Coffee. :o)

January 16

I took my friend out to celebrate her birthday. These were cupcake from Cake in a Cup (http://www.cakeinacuptoledo.com/). There was red velvet, cookies n creme, black and tan, and vanilla. They were fantastic!!!

January 15

We went to see Avatar in 3D-good movie by the way. I saw this. I can't wait for this to come out!

January 14

I went to buy Toledo Walleye tickets. This is what is across the street from the arena. I think the building is closed, but it has a neat poster on the outside.

January 13

For my door Wednesday, I saw this house on my way home from work. It is in an area that used to once be one of the richest areas in Toledo. Now, it's one of the worst. The houses are really neat if they were fixed up.

January 12

Welcome to a snowy winter. This is closeup of the salt on my car. Yup, it's been too cold out to wash it. :o(

January 11

This is my third attemp to make homemade mashed potatoes. I think the third time was a charm.

January 10

On my lazy day weekend, I decide to make more cards. These are the ones that I made. I feel accomplished. :o)

This is my first blog post of the new year. Wow, what a great year 2009 was. I'm about 2 weeks from the half way point. Yippee!!

January 9

These are a few snow covered pine trees in front of the building across from us.

January 8

This is the pine tree outside our apartment building. The next morning after the 3.5 inches of snow we got.

January 7

This is what I walked out to at the end of the work day. It had been snowing all afternoon.

January 6

For my doorway Wednesday, I took a picture of my favorite neighborhood coffee house. It's Biggby Coffee, formerly Beaners.

January 5

Dedicated fan? I saw this on my way to the gym.

January 4

Tis the winertime snow. :o)

January 3

The only thing left that is Christmassy at our place. Sorry for the hard flash, it was too dark without the flash.

January 2

The Christmas tree came down today. It's all packed away ready to give back to sister in law.

January 1, 2010

Happy New Year everyone!! This is Tressel. Ross's cousins and aunt and uncle came up from Columbus. His one cousin owns 2 Italian Greyhounds. They were so cute!

Deember 31, 2009

The last year of 2009. We went to my friend Rachel's house to celebrate. She makes awesome jello shots. This is what was left about 12:00 am.

December 30

For my doorway Wednesday, this is Tony Packo Restaurant. It is most famous for the packo dogs, chili, chili mac, etc. You probably heard Klinger (Jaimie Farr) talk about it on MASH. On the walls inside, there are a bunch of buns with celebrity autographs.

December 29

Who would think with the clear blue sky that the temp was only about 25F?  I've talked about this bridge before. The old Craig Bridge is now finished with construction. This was taken on my way home from work.

December 28

Yup, a little snow on my way home from work.

December 27

I collect pigs. This was a clock that my aunt gave me for Christams. Isn't it cute!
